Fitness for all
New moms, seasoned moms, pregnant moms, toddlers, babies and dads – all are welcome! My programs are developed with all fitness levels in mind, but special attention is given to the physical needs of birth mothers. All classes have low, medium, and high intensity options to suit all fitness levels and abilities.
It’s not just a fitness class – it’s a community of parents!
Being a parent at any stage is an exciting time, but it’s also a time when parents need each other for support. Our classes are social environments that connect parents to other parents. I like to start each class starts off with a social circle so that we can check in on the exciting (and not so exciting) goings on in our lives as parents and people. No topic is off limits and we love to have laughs. This is a great time to build friendships for both the kids and parents.
Kids rule the class
Kid are kids – they’re unpredictable and that’s OK!
Whether is continually eating, falling asleep at all the wrong times, crying, or peeing (or pooping) their pants when you just changed them – I provide a relaxed and supportive environment for parents to tend to their children. Feeding, changing, snuggling, etc., are supported in my classes.
Babies and children learn and grow by copying the actions and activities of people around them. Exercising in the presence of your child at an early age can help to establish positive physical activity habits. Babies and kids of all ages are welcome in our classes so they can see their parents get fit and strong.
Classes are 45 minutes long and are held on Wednesdays & Saturdays from 8:15am-9am. Classes are a mix of strength training and cardio. You do not need to have a jogging stroller, any stroller will work!
